Dr Pamela Walker
Pamela gained her PhD in Neuroscience and her Executive MBA from the University of Oxford.
Over the past two decades, she has worked in strategy consulting and acquisition advisory in the Pharma and MedTech space, as well as Private Equity due diligence, working with investors and corporates. Pamela began mentoring startups over a decade ago and holds a number of board advisory positions.
She is a Partner at Gate One, heading up the Life Sciences practice and the Gate One Incubator, where she works closely with start up entrepreneurs. Pamela is also a member of Angel Academe and invests alongside Tatum Getty and Esther Reynal de St-Michel, as part of THENA Capital, focusing on innovative MedTech digital solutions and fast-tracked devices that create transformative health experiences. She is committed to backing female founders as part of a diverse portfolio. Some of her recent investments include MyMynd; Samphire Neuroscience; DemDx, among others. Pamela was the UKBAA Award Winner for Best Woman-Led Investment in Innovation 2022 for her investments in Bea Fertility and Slip.
