Event 1: South West Spotlight
Hosted by CMS London, the first event in the series featured 10 tech entrepreneurs from the South West. These businesses were selected out of a pool of nearly 80 applications spanning the region.
In addition to hearing from the 10 tech innovators, we welcomed Louis Taylor, CEO of BBB to deliver the keynote and share why this is such an important programme.
We were also delighted to hear from CMS Partner, Hannah Curtis who welcomed our investors and presenting businesses and provided background on their unique equIP programme – a programme the works with start-ups in the technology sector to support their growth.
The presenting businesses represented a strong cross-section of tech sectors and highlighted the tremendous strength of the South West. From Health Tech to Clean Tech, FinTech and much more, it was a brilliant demonstration of the opportunities for investment in the region.
