Our Green Investment programme will begin with a welcome by Adrian Gillespie, CEO, Scottish Enterprise followed by opening keynotes and discussion by a senior Scottish Government minister and a key industry thought leader addressing “Investing with purpose: a values led approach to Investment”. More detail to be announced shortly.
After the opening keynote Scottish Enterprise’s Board Member, Peter McKellar will host a lively discussion on the “Innovation required in the finance sector to unlock the net zero transition”.

Get an insight into Scotland’s investment ecosystem by joining our showcase of some of the country’s most innovative green companies. Linda Hanna, Managing Director, SE will provide an ‘Introduction to Scotland’s Innovation and Investment Ecosystem’, followed by a Company Showcase and Panel Discussion. Our panel of investor experts will discuss the need to accelerate the financing of sustainable projects and opportunities. They’ll also describe the role the presenting companies, and other innovative start-ups, will have in the race to net zero. We are delighted to also have Jennifer Donnellan, Director of Policy from British Business Bank who will provide a brief insight into their recently released report: Small Businesses and the Transition to Net Zero.

Scotland’s green investment portfolio showcase, 3:30pm-5pm (GMT)
Come and join Scottish Development International’s Managing Director Neil Francis who will Chair a pitching event from 3 of the projects included within the Green Investment Portfolio.
The Scottish Government launched its Green Investment Portfolio in September 2020, which currently features over £1.4bn of investment opportunities and is hoped to be increased to £3bn by 2022.
This will give our audience the opportunity to hear first-hand from the Project sponsors of the investment opportunity on offer to support Scotland’s road to net zero.
Our panel of experts include Aberdeen City Council, who will share their experience of identifying funding partners to take forward their green investment projects.
