We are pleased to announce the four high profile companies pitching for your investment at our next pitch event on November 9, 2021.
The four pitching companies are:
‘UK based Fintech, uses transaction data to revamp loyalty programs with personalized offers’.
Krowd sources offers through an industry-first Offer Bidding Marketplace that allows retailers to bid on cardholders in real-time. Offers are distributed using bank and non-banking omnichannel across a customer’s journey. Krowd is a portfolio company of Barclays, has recently partnered with Visa, run offers with brands such as IKEA, Deliveroo, Dominos, and is active in the UK, Middle East and India.
‘Intellibonds end-to-end platform uses AI to automate fixed income investment analysis, decision making and portfolio management’.
Intellibonds provide an AI-powered B2B SaaS product for fixed income institutional investors, that allows them to automate the full workflow of the investment decision process including investment analysis, decision making and portfolio management. They already have global traction across Asset Managers, insurance companies, pension funds across three continents.
‘Transforming Speech Therapy with Speech Tracking Technology’
BeneTalk is a digital speech therapy app and their vision is to help everyone find joy in speaking. They are currently helping people who stutter (affecting 3% of the population for their entire life) to communicate more comfortably. Their innovation resides in their proprietary speech tracking technology that allows users to learn and practice new speaking habits at any speaking opportunity – like a fitness tracker, but for speech.
‘CastingForm allows anyone to start booking acting jobs anywhere in the world’
More than 80% of actors in the world stay under represented and have no access to acting jobs. The industry’s standard for hiring actors has been set more than a half century ago, basically saying that if you don’t have an agent you are out. CastingForm becomes an easy way to start acting careers globally, and find jobs not only in film & television, but also in voice, digital, gaming industries and virtual worlds, as well as landing representation.
The moderator for this event is Martin Bloom, CEO of Emblem Ventures (a family office established in 1956) and an LP and Member of the Advisory Board of Seraphim Space Fund.
Martin is an LP and Member of the Corporate Advisory Board of Seraphim Space Fund. After 3 unicorn SPAC acquisitions of early portfolio companies earlier this year, the fund transitioned into an Investment Trust, raised a further £180m and listed on Main Market of the LSE (SSIT).
Martin is a Director (and previously Chairman for almost 10 years) of the solar company Renesola, listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: SOL). Renesola raised $250m in January for solar and/or storage projects, and for acquisitions.
Martin been appointed an Investor-in-Residence at Cambridge Cleantech and Oxfordshire Greentech.
Martin helps build the high growth companies of tomorrow, mentoring senior management and entrepreneurs. He has a special skill in deconstructing business models to make them more scalable by eliminating obstacles to rapid growth.
Each pitch will be followed by a short Q&A. Once all pitches completed, we will open breakout rooms for further discussion and questions.
