Lifted Ventures, the regional early-stage investment connector for female founders, is thrilled to announce the arrival of an inaugural event for women in venture capital. Athena VC Festival is a pioneering event dedicated to advancing gender diversity in venture capital.

This landmark event will bring together inspiring women in VCs, women aspiring to be VCs, angel investors, finance professionals, and industry allies to explore how women can break barriers, build networks, and reshape the future of venture capital. The event will provide practical tips on how to succeed as a woman in VC: we will hear from women who’ve already paved the way to creating successful careers and discuss the impact that women leaders are having in the investment sector. 

With over 120+ attendees expected, this will be the biggest women-in-VC event outside London and the South East, diving into key challenges and opportunities for women in VC, including pathways to leadership, balancing career and family life, and driving greater diversity in the industry. The Athena VC event will celebrate community, share wisdom and prioritise connection.
