Ambition for a new Angel Investor Network in Nottingham

Nottingham Trent University and partners are on a mission to create a new Angel Investor Network coupled with investment ready businesses. Our ambition is to foster an inclusive and sustainable funding ecosystem in Nottingham where investors and businesses connect, creating meaningful relationships that extend beyond financial transactions.

The Angel Investor Network programme, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and delivered on behalf of Nottingham City Council, by Nottingham Trent University, Greenborough Management and a range of local partners, will offer advice, coaching and mentoring and workshops for both businesses and investors.

The ambition is to create a network for Nottingham that values diversity, celebrates success, and creates lasting connections. The programme wants to attract Investors who are willing to share knowledge and build a supportive group contributing to developing Nottingham’s success and growth. This programme aspires to cultivate an environment where every investor is developing businesses based in Nottingham with investments that are more than numbers; they are the catalysts for positive change.

The programme is led by Nottingham Trent University’s Enterprise Team based at the purpose built Dryden Enterprise Centre in Nottingham City Centre, launching with an event on 19 June from 4.30pm to 6.30pm which will welcome

  • Nottingham entrepreneurs
  • Investors
