Midlands producing outstanding funding opportunities

Shadow Foundr was recently privileged to sit on some judging panels for Venture Fest in the West Midlands.

Around 50 early stage businesses pitched their opportunities, with the final 9 going head to head at Birmingham’s NEC in late June.

What was evident was the quality of proposition coming out of the Midlands. What was encouraging was that most of these had realistic valuations unlike many over-inflated valuations often seen in the capital and surrounds.

With Shadow Foundr enjoying a growing presence in the Midlands, we are confident of bringing some very exciting opportunities to our investors over the coming months.

Thanks to our geographic spread and some excellent partner affiliations, we are grateful to be in a position whereby we can pick and choose amongst the very best opportunities in the UK, for investors.

Just last month, the team attended half a dozen such pitching events, including Venture Fest Oxford and the St John’s Innovation Pitching event in Cambridge.

We will continue to attend such events, in order to deliver the best possible opportunities to our investors.
