OION celebrates another successful year
Oxford Investment Opportunity Network (OION) held their annual dinner on Thursday 6 April following another successful year of angel investments and the first close of the OION fund.
The annual OION dinner is well renowned as a great networking event and this year was no different as guests gathered on a sunny, spring evening at Trinity College, Oxford. A sparkling drinks reception greeted guests on arrival and was followed by a three course Dinner in the 17th century dining hall. The evening concluded with drinks and networking in the college bar.
This year’s guest speaker was Craig Marshall, newly appointed CEO of Organox and ex MD of Siemens Magnet Technology. Organox provide preservation technology for organs used in transplants. They raised angel investment through OION in 2008 and following the successful completion of clinical studies, the product is now commercially available within the EU. www.organox.com
