MIT SLOAN covers London’s scale-up imperative

The most significant opportunity that London has is to scale existing startups, rather than try to support more. This was the focus of a new partnership bringing together UKBAA, RBS/Natwest, University College London and the UK Department for International Trade during their participation in the MIT Regional Acceleration Programme (MIT REAP).

The latest edition of MIT SLOAN reports on the programme, which resulted in the formation of London’s Growth Builder – a yearlong programme that offers ambitious entrepreneurs unprecedented access to a like-minded cohort of high-potential peers, scale-up teaching and additional support from all five stakeholders (academia, government and business).
