InMotion Ventures – pre-seed investment programme open
InMotion Ventures – the new venture division of Jaguar Land Rover – is launching its accelerator programme.
InMotion invests in high-growth companies in the mobility and smart transportation sector.We invest globally at all stages from seed to Series B, and our London-based accelerator programme offers pre-seed investment and hands-on support to 10-15 early-stage startups every year.
Unlike most programmes, we do not provide a fixed amount of funding. Instead, we assess each pre-seed deal on its own merits. That said, we expect most companies joining the accelerator programme to be teams of 2-6 founders, in the early stages of developing a transportation-focused product and likely to be raising a funding round totalling less than £500k.
The core programme lasts for 6 months, and during that time we provide the following support:
- Pre-seed investment
- Hands-on support from from our in-house team, including experienced, exited entrepreneurs, designers and technologists
- A programme of curated masterclasses, talks and events
- Hands-on support to raise follow-on funding
- Access to our deep network of industry partners and investors
- Workspace at InMotion HQ
We don’t disappear at the end of the programme. We always seek to continue supporting the companies in our portfolio and where we see a significant opportunity, we are able to provide follow-on investment.
