Startup Funding Club launches the SFC Academy

Startup Funding Club (SFC), the award-winningbusiness angels syndicate and seed investment fund, has launched a new initiative for early-stage startups in partnership with experienced entrepreneur and angel investor Andy Yates,the SFC Academy.

The programme offers three months of weekly tailored support to help shape the product, commercial approach and team as well as key market, business and strategic planning. The right candidates will receive on-going help from Andy Yates and SFC’s extensive network of supporters, partners and investors to maximise their chances of future growth and success.

SFC Academy is aimed at entrepreneurs who are just beginning their entrepreneurial journey and whose company will be able to qualify for SEIS tax treatment. Additionally to receiving mentoring and investor-readiness support, designed to maximise the chances of raising significant future funding from the SFC fund and network of investors, the candidates will receive £10k of new investment to focus on developing and proving an initial product or service.
