The Ignite Awards 2017

Toucan kicked off the new year with their flagship event, The Nest, at The Andaz hotel, London. The day was jam-packed with keynote speakers, panels, and presentations from Toucan portfolio startups. Topics ranged from how to have ahappy business to navigating the angel investment landscape. The afternoon sawpresentations from Grill My Cheese and Pashion, both companies that Toucan is currently supporting. The day was rounded off with Rasha Khawaja (founder and CEO of Toucan) and Fiona Dent (group managing director at Time Inc. UK) announcing the launch of The Ignite Awards 2017.

The Ignite Awards is a national competition, powered by Toucan and Time Inc. UK,looking to discover new businesses in the food and beverage, retail, and lifestyle sectors. The winner will receive a six-month mentoring programme with support and help from experts at Toucan and Time Inc. (UK) to help them grow their business. The winner will have access to great brands, expert advice, valuable connections, and office space in the Time Inc. (UK) building.
