What will the tech sector look like in 2017?

Aritifcial intelligence, VR, driverless cars and fintech are just a few of the hottest areas in which we are likely tosee growth and disruptionin the tech sector in 2017, according toGP Bullhound’s annual Technology Predictions 2017 report.

Noting the impressive speed of growth that the technology industry has achieved, Alec Dafferner and Per Roman, partner and managing partner at GP Bullhound, write:

“The scale of transformation throughout the technology sector in the past decade is unprecedented. To think that Facebook became the fifth largest company in the world earlier this year, having been launched little over twelve years ago, gives a sense of the pace of innovation and growth that the industry has set.”
