MBM Commercial appoints US corporate partner
MBM Commercial is delighted to announce the appointment of partner Tracey Ginn, a highly experienced California and Scots business lawyer who joins MBM Commercial from a US AmLaw 100 firm.
Following Tracey’s appointment, MBM Commercial offers a sophisticated US law capability to assist clients who are doing deals in the US, expanding into US markets,transacting with US businesses or selling to US buyers; we work locally to support clients globally in corporate and commercial transactions.
Tracey has over 25 years of experience as a corporate and business lawyer in both the UK and the US. Tracey worked in Scotland and London at a senior level in private practice and in merchant banking before moving to Los Angeles and qualifying as a California attorney. Tracey practised law in the US for 12 years, including latterly as a partner in an AmLaw 100 firm where she specialised in cross-border transactions and corporate M&A. Tracey brings a valuable perspective to cross-border transactions and is adept at advising clients as they expand overseas. As an active member of GlobalScot network Tracey has assisted a large number of companies from the UK in establishing and developing their businesses in the US.
Tracey’s experience includes advising clients in a range of industries and types of business in both the UK and the US. She regularly advises on novel and complex structures, which is very useful in helping clients meet the changing needs of the marketplace. She guides businesses entering new territories, in particular the US, and her background as a dual-qualified UK and US lawyer means that she is well-versed in advising on the corporate and regulatory environment in both jurisdictions. Tracey’s clients include businesses in a range of market sectors such as technology, clean tech, health care and business services and she has recently advised on technology-enabled transportation regulation, compliance and contracting, including car-sharing operations and a variety of new business models based upon app-based access and 24/7 utilisation of vehicles.
