Origin Capital Invest in Naturemetrics:

Origin Capital has invested in Naturemetrics, which use DNA and other genetic approaches to assess the presence of organisms in natural environments. Origin participated in a seed-funding round alongside the Iceni Seedcorn fund and several individual angel investors.

Origin Capital Exit Separately:

Separately, Origin also announced recently that it has sold its holding in AIM-quoted Scancell, which is devoloping DNA-based cancer vaccine therapies. Origin reports the realisation returned 5.5x total money invested, giving an IRR of c. 37% p.a. over the life of the investment.
