Innovate UK Delivery Plan

As the UK government’s innovation agency, it is our aim to inspire and support pioneering UK businesses to create the industries of the future.

We have just published our 2016/17 Delivery Plan. In it, you will discover some important changes in the way we support business innovation.

Highlights of the delivery plan include:

• A new sector focus Рthat is easier for industry, investors and government to work with

• Changing the frequency and nature of our sector funding competitions Рso that they are broader in scope than previously and form a single stream of innovation funding

‚Ä¢ Forming a single ‘open’ funding programme – for applications from any technology or sector

• Enhancing the role of our innovation networks Рin providing guidance and support to innovative businesses both nationally and regionally

We believe that this approach will make us even more effective in our work to help business develop the science and technology innovations that will grow the UK economy.
