Finalists pitch at sold out StartUp 2016 event

StartUp 2016, the UK’s biggest start-up show of the New Year, took place on 16th January in Canary Wharf and across 10 other locations in the UK. The “Show me the Money” zone featured an opportunity to meet founders – and to hear live pitches. StartUp 2016 teamed up with The Seed & EIS Hour from Intelligent Crowd TV, who hosted a special live-audience event to offer founders an opportunity to pitch their funding opportunities.

A panel of expert judges from the VC and Angel investor space, chaired by UKBAA’s Jenny Tooth, assessed the outstanding five finalists.

UKBAA members can see all five finalists featured on a special Season Two debut of The Seed & EIS Hour on 28th January.

The Seed and EIS Hour is the world’s first series dedicated to Crowd and Angel funding. The program has a focus on harder-to-explain B2B investment opportunities and streams, live at 7pm on Thursdays, to PCs, smartphones and tablets.

Membership is free of charge, but open to registered Sophisticated and HNW investors only. Members gain access to information from Argus Research and All Street Research, and can put questions directly to the presenting entrepreneurs, live, via Skype.
