Angels Gather at House of Lords for Wales Business Angel Network Event

Over 60 top angel investors from London and the South East of England gathered in the auspicious surroundings of the House of Lords last night to hear Lord Wigley introduce them to the benefits of investing in high growth Welsh start-ups.

The initiative of xenos the Wales Business Angel Network and supported by the UK Business Angels Association, drew interest from across the angel investment spectrum as part of a campaign to interest investors outside Wales in exciting Welsh businesses. David Maas Manager of xenos said ” xenos has a very supportive angel investor network already, but demand for equity funds is high and we wanted to widen investment opportunities to angels and funds in London and the South East. We are delighted with the response from the event and will be working closely with the UKBAA on developing our London presence.”
