Children’s Urban Centre raises £50,000 in new capital

Our client recognised a gap in the market for a unique multi-purpose facility where children and parents will not only have access to a state-of-the-art new nursery provision, but also a sensory room, a messy playroom, a soft play room, theatre space, multi-purpose studio, after-school clubs, small retail units and hot-desking business facilities for parents. We could see that for an investor, the returns would be significant. By coming on board at this stage of a hugely franchisable concept, the growth of the initial investment could rise as the brand increases nationwide. One investor was particularly excited at the concept for the school and offered to become an equity partner within a few weeks.
