Pro-Women angel syndicate Angel Academe wins the UKBAA Award for Lead Angel Syndicate of 2015 at the UK Business Angels Association Awards.

The UKBAA Awards celebrate the founders and investors behind the UK’s most exciting high growth angel-backed businesses.
Lead Angel Syndicate of 2015 Award sponsored by theAngel CoFundis aimed atactive angel investors working as syndicates, either‚Ä® as part of a business angel network, or more informally, who have invested together, or reached a significant milestone in the past year.
Angel Academewas announced as the winner of the category byKiki Loizou, Small Business Editor of the Sunday Timesat the Tower of London Pavilion on July 1st at the UKBAA Awards Dinner 2015.

The syndicate which includes also some men, is offering training for new women investors and has already demonstrated a keen appetite to invest in a number of women led businesses, whilst drawing on the skills of experienced investors to bring ongoing support to the portfolio businesses.
