Aeristech‘s patented technology in electric supercharging and turbocharging overcomes the main obstacle to extreme engine downsizing, and lower CO2 emissions.
The judges felt thatAeristechwas developing an innovative electric motor technology to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and increase efficiency and power across a platform of applications including full electric turbo-charging, electric boosting, and fuel cell compression. The investors in the company, notably through Minerva Business Angels, Angels5k and Midven, were recognised as having brought significant funding through several rounds and direct support to the team through the challenges of proving the concept and moving to effective commercialisation
