The win was announced by Kiki Loizou, Small Business Editor of the Sunday Times at the Tower of London Pavilion on July 1st at the UKBAA Awards Dinner 2015.
Oxford Space Systems is a space technology business that is pioneering the development of deployable structures that are lighter, less complex and lower-cost than those in current commercial demand.
The business successfully accessed funding through Longwall Enterprise Capital Fund, who recognised the growth opportunity of the space sector and the quality, track record and innovate spirit of the management team.
The investment has enabled it to accelerate its growth and leverage match finance from the European Space Agency and Innovate UK and to penetrate new international markets and gain vital contracts to further validate the technology.
