TLT advises Sussex Place Ventures on Kimble Applications investment

TLT has advised venture capital firm Sussex Place Ventures on its investment in Kimble Applications, one of the UK and Europe’s leading professional services automation (PSA) providers.
The investment, which was part of a $1.8m equity fundraising, sees Kimble Applications expand its international operations with new office in Boston, their third in the US.
The TLT team was led by corporate partner Jon Gill, assisted by corporate solicitor Jack Wolton.
Commenting on the deal, TLT’s Jon Gill said:
“We were really pleased to work with Sussex Place Ventures on their latest investment, which will be invaluable in helping Kimble Applications realise their ambitious growth plans. We are seeing a lot of interest from investors in SaaS platforms that can drive efficiencies in industries such as financial and professional services, and we wish the Kimble team every success as they seek to scale the business further.”
Barnaby Terry, Managing Partner at Sussex Place Ventures said:
“We have known Kimble for some time and were delighted to have the opportunity to support their growth with an investment from our new fund. Jon and Jack did a great job of navigating the dynamics of this financing round and bring this investment to an efficient conclusion.”
At the end of last year, TLT advised Sussex Place Ventures, UCL Business and New Wave Ventures on a £2 million equity fundraising for Cambridge-based cancer healthcare company Endomagnetics.
