Three MMC companies announced in the Silicon Valley Comes to the UK 2014 Scale Up Club

Silicon Valley Comes to the UK, a not-for-profit series of industry events designed to improve the UK entrepreneurship ecosystem, has today named three MMC portfolio companies amongst its 2014 list of the most scalable European businesses: the Scale Up Club. Somo, Love Home Swap and Appear Here all feature in the Club, which will aim to bring the CEOs of innovative and inspirational businesses together in a programme of mentoring and networking.

SVC2UK aims to help the UK close the ‘scale-up’ gap, in turn creating an additional 238,000 jobs and £38 billion annual turnover from the creation and subsequent development of new businesses. All three MMC-backed companies have had strong years and will further benefit from the collaboration and support offered by these kinds of initiatives.
