74 deals completed & over £207m invested in May 2014

Investment activity in May 2014 surpassed all records for recent years, with UK growing companies getting funded to the tune of £207m. In total there were 74 deals completed, 61 with known investment amounts. Looking at this month’s surge in both dela numbers and investment amount we are resonably confident to predict that Q2 2014 will turn out to be the most active quarter since our records began in 2010. This certainly adds weight to other statistics pointing owards an ecornomic recovery gathering pace.
