Business and Professional Services sky-high: £165m invested in Q1 2014

Q1 2014 investment into the Business and Professional Services space rose to a record high of £165m – almost matching the amount invested in the first three quarters of 2013. This was partly down to growth-stage investment doubling from Q4 2013. Simultaneously, venture-stage investment halved over the same period.

Deal numbers in this sector stagnated across all stages of evolution since last quarter, but it is important to note that the figures have been rising in general for quite some time.
