March has been another buzzy month for startups looking for investment, as 12 businesses have reached their targets on Seedrs.

Webstart Bristol raised their second SEIS Seedrs fund of £150,000 to fund their next Bristol-based accelerator cohort of 10 early-stage startups. Webstart Bristol is an incubator based in Bristol which opened in January 2014 following a successful Seedrs campaign in late 2013. Webstart Bristol will select another 10 companies which will go through an intensive 10 week programme of mentoring. Each will receive an investment, mentoring, office space and professional services in exchange for 10% equity in their company.

The Sleeping Room, an original, micro-budget feature film raised £10,000. This is the first British film to raise a portion of its budget from equity crowdfunding.
