New Brand for Beer & Young
2013 was a year of change for Beer & Young – new offices, new branding, new team, the closure of Beer & Partners; and most importantly, a serious upturn in investor activity and successful completion of many of our projects. Beer & Young is really looking forward to 2014, helping more SME’s achieve their funding objectives.
A New Look
The re-branding exercise is now compete. A new website has been launched that that better reflects our suite of specialised services, the work we’ve been undertaking and our vision for 2014 and beyond. We aim to help established businesses in all stages of their funding requirements.
Our Focus
At Beer & Young, we’ve always been proud of our work in turnaround and this remains a key activity. Our sophisticated investor network is active and can quickly help the funding needs of your clients. We are also comfortable in mainstream fund raising for SME’s. If any of your clients are looking for funding, perhaps have growing order books and need working or investment capital, we can help. Our investor network is mature and always flexible over terms.
New Products
Beer & Young is delighted to launch our property fund. We have a small close group of private investors looking to work with us on our own transactions. We seek opportunities where we can replace bank debt and offer working capital secured on a first charge on property, usually at a maximum of 50% Loan to Value.
This offering suits businesses where the bank relationship has broken down and both parties are keen to exit. We are NOT driven by a need for a formal insolvency process. We add value to the proposition with support mechanisms. We aim to lend for a maximum period of 18 months; returning our client to mainstream lending.
New Partnership
Beer & Young is delighted to announce a tie up with Angels Den; one of the leading business angel networks in the UK. They service a new market for us, particularly early stage, and it’s great to be able to work with Bill & Lois and their team. There is synergy in our respective offerings and we expect to fund many businesses through their network.

We have a 15 year track record of raising capital for business owners, whatever stage they are at. We are a referral driven business and always respect the source of introduction. Our niche is delivering finance solutions for established businesses (whatever their circumstance!). We’ll never interfere with the services our introducers offer and respect the positions of key stakeholders.
