Pam Garside

Chairman, Cambridge Angels

Pam Garside is the Chairman of Cambridge Angels and sits on a number of boards including Crown Place Venture Capital Trust. Pam advises a number of health technology accelerators , VCs and start-ups in the UK and Europe. She has over 30 angel investments in early stage health tech companies.  Pam is especially supportive of female-led healthcare businesses.

Pam has a career as a management consultant working in health care systems and digital health in the UK and internationally. She is a Fellow of the Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge and a member of the Investment Committee of Cambridge Enterprise, the technology transfer company of the University. Pam founded and co-chairs The Cambridge Health Network, a membership group of senior players in UK health, both private and public sector.

Pam began her professional life in management in the NHS and subsequently spent many years studying and working internationally based in the USA. She holds a BSc from the University of Durham and a master’s degree in Hospital and Health Care Administration from the University of Minnesota. She is an Adjunct Professor at Imperial College Business School.
