Portfolio Director, Praetura Ventures

Guy Weaver is a Portfolio Director at Praetura Ventures, the Manchester-based VC with investments in over 45 companies across its EIS, VCT and institutional funds, including the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II – Equity North West mandate. As Portfolio Director, Guy is responsible for providing More Than Money to the businesses within Praetura Ventures’ growing portfolio of EIS and VCT companies. As Portfolio Director, Guy is in constant contact with founders, helping them navigate everything from cash flow management and R&D tax credits to fundraising. An experienced investor, Guy has also worked on multiple Praetura deals. This includes both first-time and follow-on investments and, more recently, a high-profile acquisition on behalf of Praetura Ventures’ portfolio company Percayso Inform, which specialises in next generation insurance intelligence.
