CEO, BeAngels

Claire Munck is CEO of BeAngels, Belgium’s largest private investor community.

Over the past 25 years, BeAngels has channelled close to €100 million into several hundred start-ups. Claire is also the founder and Managing Partner of ScaleFund I, II and III. Through its third fund, ScaleFund invests in early growth-stage technology companies across Benelux and France, typically leading pre-Series A rounds in digital transformation, deeptech, and cleantech with hands-on support to help founders scale into their next stage of growth. In 2013, she joined the Board of Business Angels Europe, where she is responsible for international cooperation.

She spent close to ten years at EBAN, the European Trade Association for Business Angels, including five as Managing Director. She was part of the founding team of the WBAA (World Business Angels Association) and a founding Executive Committee member of the Global Business Angel Network. Before that, she was a project manager at EURADA, the European Association of Regional Development Agencies.

She is an alumna of McGill University, the European Communication School and the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
