Katie combines a strong foundation in IP law with a passion for early-stage venture capital. As the former Head of Investment Readiness at Capital Enterprise, she has guided hundreds of startups through fundraising, forging strong connections with early-stage funds. With a Natural Sciences degree from the University of Cambridge and a master’s in Bioscience Entrepreneurship from UCL (where she ranked top of her class), Katie bridges the gap between science and business. 
 
Previously a qualified IP lawyer at Taylor Wessing, Katie worked on high-stakes patent litigation and corporate deals in life sciences, medtech, and telecoms. She is also part of the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Venture Capital Fellowship Program, highlighting her dedication to advancing tech innovation.
