Partner, Ascension

Emma is a Partner at Ascension, where she leads the institutional funds. She oversees fundraising, investment and portfolio management for Ascension Fund III, which backs fintech, health and energy companies improving everyday life for mass markets. She also led the deployment strategies for the Fair By Design and Good Food Funds, supporting businesses across financial inclusion, energy, transport and affordable food.

Since 2015, Ascension has been dedicated to supporting the next generation of tech and impact founders, investing in over 150 startups through its (S)EIS and Institutional Funds. Ascension, recently named one of the most active London VCs over the past decade and the UK’s most active Impact VC by Beauhurst, has a particular focus on backing businesses leveraging the power of technology to solve the world’s biggest problems.
