Investing in Clean Mobility Innovations

The Advanced Propulsion Centre and UKBAA have joined forces to find leading clean automotive, transport, and mobility innovators that will help the UK remain competitive in the research, development, and production of low-carbon automotive technologies. Together, the APC and UKBAA are looking to pinpoint up to 10 ground-breaking businesses to participate in an exclusive pitching event.

Calling all clean mobility innovators!

We are looking to pinpoint innovators actively raising investment to participate in an exclusive pitching event taking place on 6th February 2024 in London.

Do you have a ground-breaking business that will revolutionise the automotive, transport and mobility industries? Does your solution have the potential to transform vehicles and fleets or innovatively use transportation data? Are you accelerating innovation in Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM)?

If you answered yes to any of those questions and are actively raising equity investment, apply for your chance to be part of the fifth annual Mobilise the Future: Clean Mobility showcase!

Who should apply?

Businesses looking to apply should be:

  • Investment ready and actively raising equity investment in the range of £250k-£3m
  • Meeting/solving a clear market need in the clean transport, mobility and automotive sector
  • Demonstrate the potential to scale/possibility of disruption in their sector
  • Using their technology to accelerate the transition to NetZero

Before applying businesses should take into consideration the following details:

  • Up to 10 businesses will be selected to pitch at the London showcase and those selected will be expected to pitch in-person in London (businesses will be required to arrange their own travel details)
  • All businesses will be asked to apply to pitch and selections for the final line-up of presenters will be made based on what has been provided in the application
  • If selected, the person presenting on behalf of your company at the event must be the founder/co-founder or a c-suite member of the team

The businesses selected to pitch at the event will be invited to come to London and present to an investor audience. Drawn from UKBAA’s extensive community of angel and early-stage investors, this event will offer an incredible opportunity to build your network and access potential investment.

Businesses selected will attend a 1-to-1 bespoke pitch rehearsal session in preparation for their 5-minute pitch at the event. Businesses selected to pitch will also receive exclusive access to UKBAA’s Deal Share Platform – a one of a kind investor marketplace for profiling and sharing your deal.
