Henley Business Angels Investment KYMIRA Recommended in Forbes Article

KYMIRA, founded and run by University of Reading alumnus Tim Brownstone, and invested in by several members of the Henley Business Angels, received a recommendation in a recent Forbes article The Best Running Clothes To Smash Your Couch To 5k Plan.

The author described what she enjoyed most about the leggings when talking about the best cold weather clothes, by saying: ‘We love the KYMIRA Sport’s Infrared Running Leggings, designed for both better performance and recovery, which actually increase blood circulation to and tissue oxygenation while you wear them’.

KYMIRA develops wearable devices in the medical and domestic healthcare markets and received funding from Henley Business Angels in 2017. The company won the Henley Business School Best Start-Up and Innovation of the Year Competition in 2016. KYMIRA was also the first British company to be selected for the Sports Technology category at the South by South West (SXSW) Accelerator, an annual conglomerate of film, interactive media, technology, and music festivals in Texas, US, and won the prestigious award of Best Bootstrapped Company, carrying off the $4,000 prize money. KYMIRA also had the distinction of being featured in Sports Illustrated.
