Ying De Group invites companies to meet 400 investors in China
Pitching and networking opportunities at investor roadshows covering four major Chinese cities

The UK has always had a special place amongst Chinese investors. The 2015 UK visit by the Chinese President Xi Jinping, described by the Queen as a “defining moment” in the future of Sino-UK relations, has certainly accelerated further investment from China. In spite of the ongoing Brexit uncertainties, there remains a healthy appetite from Chinese investors for quality investment opportunities in the UK. Earlier this year, the visit by Theresa May to China, which was accompanied by the “largest ever” business delegation for any British overseas visit comprising of the likes of Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin, Arup and AstraZeneca, has done much in keeping the UK in the spotlight and restoring investor confidence. Coupled with the relatively weak Sterling in recent months, the UK is once again a very interesting investment destination for foreign investors.
Against this backdrop of high demand, Ying De will be organising a series of investor roadshows across four major cities in five-star hotel venues in China, with each city expecting to receive around 100 Chinese high net worth individuals. Our investors will be interested in providing funding as well as skills and business networks to UK companies through the UK government backed Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa scheme. The event dates are as follows:
- 18th August 2018; Shanghai
- 19th August 2018; Beijing
- 25th August 2018; Shenzhen
- 26th August 2018; Guangzhou
We invite participation by UK companies who are looking to raise fund via the Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa scheme to attend the roadshow events. Each company will have the opportunity to make a formal presentation, followed by networking sessions as well as one-on-one meetings with the investors. To qualify, the company must be UK-based and have a minimum of three-year trading history with statutory accounts. Due to limited places, priorities will be given to companies in these five sectors: finance and accounting, marketing, international trading, education and training, and IT.
