UKBAA COVID-19 Update: What is the Future Fund and how will it affect our community?
Following the announcement from the Chancellor on 20th April, Jenny Tooth, CEO of the UKBAA will discuss her thoughts on the new Future Fund available to innovative companies that are facing financing difficulties due to the Coronavirus outbreak. She will also look at what this means for the investor community.
The Future Fund will provide government funded convertible loans to equity backed UK-based companies ranging from £125,000 to £5 million, subject to at least equal match funding from private investors. Jenny will also discuss other measures and proposals being pursued with Government to support early stage businesses and investors in addressing COVID-19.
Jenny’s discussion will be followed by a Q&A session.
