Sustainability Pitching Event

Angels Den invites you to our next pitching event at 13:00 on the 15th of April. Join the webinar to see three promising startups within the sustainability field as they pitch to a group of experienced angel investors. During the webinar there will be live Q&A after each pitch to have your questions answered. Companies 

Tensei
A biotechnology company developing products and IP from alternative (agricultural) fibre streams, notably annual crop waste and grasses. Their MVP product, a type of paper, has been launched with the UK’s largest soft fruit marketing desk Berry Gardens in Q1 2021 and are currently being tested for products delivered by Bakkavor, Domino’s and for vertical farming. £100,000 revenue achieved and another £400,000 incoming revenue from contracts. They are raising £480,000 at a pre-money valuation of £4,500,000.

PES
A biotechnology company which have developed a proprietary and disruptive soil testing technology that can be used to counter soil degradation and increase agricultural productivity. Their hardware and software solution makes the soil analysis process much less time-consuming and efficient while being highly accurate at diagnosing and providing solutions through their ML database at a competitive price. They are starting commercial trials with three large agricultural companies in 2021 and have paid trials lined up for 2022. They are raising £600,000 and have £355,000 committed.

Ape2o
A sustainability company which is tackling the problem of plastic bottle waste. They are providing clean and ultra-filtered still & sparkling water through their water dispense machines which are located in premium positions around London. Being on their way of owning the water dispensation infrastructure in the city, they are experiencing steady recurring revenue with little to no running costs. They recently had Adam Balon, co-founder of Innocent drinks which is the biggest juice brand in Europe, join their team as a non-executive chairman. They are seeking £500,000 at a £2,000,000 pre-money valuation.
