Scale up Briefing: Mergers and Acquisitions

The West of England is recognised as a great place to start a business, but there is still work to be done to properly put our fast growth, scaling companies on the map. After our successful event earlier in 2018 discussing ‘how to raise £1M or more’ we are pleased to bring together the scale up community to discuss the merits, practicalities and challenges of mergers and acquisitions.

At this event you will hear from founders that have experienced this adventure first hand – and from experts who do it as a day-job. The event will follow our usual format of a number of lightning talks followed by a panel discussion (or the other way around) and with plenty of time for meeting other people and asking the juicy questions.

Greg LeTocq and Jim Shaw will talk about the acquisition of Vouchercloud by Groupon

Andy Littledale will explain how SecondSync was sold to Twitter

Emily Kent will talk about her experiences with MyActionReplay
