National Women’s Angel Forum
In partnership with Innovate UK, UKBAA is delighted to present the 3rd annual National Women in Angel Investing Forum! Taking place in the elegant surroundings of the Home Grown Club, Mayfair, this forum offers an important opportunity for women angel investors and would-be angel investors to come together to review the current landscape for women investors, learn about latest developments, share inside stories and experience on the world of angel investing – and explore ideas on what more can be done to encourage women to get involved in the exciting world of investing in the UK’s start-ups .
This event comes against a backdrop of important research that we launched last year on the barriers and opportunities for women to angel invest and with the more recent reports from the British Business Bank on Women and VC, as well as the Alison Rose report on Women entrepreneurship by HM Treasury.
We will have guest speakers from British Business Bank, Innovate UK and a range of active women angel investors from around the UK who are bringing their perspectives to our interactive debates, as well as hearing experiences of women entrepreneurs of their own journeys to access investment.
Throughout the day there will be lots of opportunities for networking and making new contacts and links over our afternoon tea break and into the evening during our drinks reception.
