Investment Readiness Workshop

An important part of growing any business is the ability to clearly and effectively pitch your business plan to investors and potential partners.
This workshop has been designed for companies looking for early stage investment from Business Angels and other early stage investment funds. There will be a maximum of 10 businesses invited to attend the workshop, which will provide you with the required information to approach investors with the information they need to evaluate your opportunity. You’ll also get the chance to practice your pitching to a panel of angel investors and business funding advisors who will provide quality feedback.

  • 30 second pitch & break down of long pitch presentation
  • Valuation
  • Exit strategies
  • Due Diligence advice and process
  • Case study from a business that succesfully secured investment
  • Practice of the pitching skills

Who is it for:

  • A UK-based business
  • Startup, early stage or small business with 0-5 years in business
  • Looking for early stage investment (angel/seed/early-stage venture capital fund)

The workshop will be ran over 2 days. There will be a week break between to allow time for pitch preparation. The first session will be on Wednesday 5th October 9am till 4:30pm, and the second on Wednesday 12th October from 9am till 6pm. Applicants must be available to attend both sessions.
