Crisis Communications and Reputation Management


Communications is at the very heart of successful crisis management. What basic steps should you be taking when managing a crisis? What solutions do you need for the issues you are facing? How can you plan for the future?

We are delighted to welcome Henry Gewanter, one of the UK’s most experienced corporate communications experts, to our online webinar programme. Henry will discuss these questions, and other pressing issues currently being faced by businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how best to deal with them.

Henry established Positive Profile in 1997 upon leaving Financial Dynamics as Head of Financial Services. He is an expert in disaster containment and control and has successfully handled high-profile crisis management projects including the Blue Arrow trials and the Maxwell pension scandal, as well as a number of corporate, financial, regulatory and administrative disasters. His more recent work includes exposing the MPs’ expenses scandal.

He graduated from King’s College, Cambridge, after studying at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland and the Bronx High School of Science in New York, where he was a National Merit Scholar. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, the Institute of Direct Marketing, the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Royal Society of Arts and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
