NoBa Capital invests in ShiftPartner to unlock £bn-scale healthcare workforce efficiency

NoBa Capital is pleased to announce its investment in ShiftPartner, a healthcare workforce intelligence platform using AI and clinical skills data to help organisations better understand and deploy their workforce.
The NHS spends over £10bn a year on temporary staffing, highlighting both the scale of the workforce challenge and the opportunity to use technology to deploy existing capability more effectively. ShiftPartner is building the intelligence layer to help healthcare organisations understand what their workforce can do, match skills to demand and ultimately reduce reliance on expensive temporary staffing.
Founded by Dilshan Arawwawala, a hospital consultant and former NHS Chief Clinical Information Officer, ShiftPartner is now onboarding its first large NHS Trust, providing an important early proof point for the platform and its potential to transform how public money is spent on healthcare staffing.
“We’re delighted to partner with NoBa. They go beyond financial investment, providing invaluable support, commercial guidance and access to an amazing network of founders and advisors.”

“We were excited to back Dilshan and ShiftPartner because they are tackling a major challenge at the intersection of AI, workforce intelligence and public spending. Dilshan’s unique combination of clinical expertise and NHS experience gives ShiftPartner a rare advantage in building this future. We believe the platform has the potential to unlock existing workforce capacity and, at scale, transform how healthcare organisations deploy people and public money.”
