QVentures Appoints Alex Cochand as Partner

LONDON, 3 November 2023 — London-based Venture Capital firm, QVentures announces the promotion of Alex Cochand as Partner.

The much-deserved appointment of Alex as a Partner comes as no surprise, as since joining the firm in January 2021, Alex has been instrumental in the success and growth of QVentures.

Joining the team as Head of Origination, Alex consistently brought in high-quality Series A to D companies and introduced various deals to the QVentures Pre-Seed SEIS Fund. Prior to joining QVentures, Alex worked at Avios launching their CVC and at Downing Ventures where he led origination, managing both the deal flow and value-add programmes. He started his career working at Bluebox where he acted as a consultant, supporting early-stage companies with strategy and fundraising.

Alex Cochand says: “I’m very excited to have been promoted to Partner at QVentures and I’m even more excited to continue our work supporting the next generation of UK tech unicorns to grow and succeed.”
