58 British companies join SV2UK’s Scale Up Club
The British companies most likely to become technology giants to rival Facebook and Google have been unveiled in a new report, which names 58 firms that could hit £100m in revenue in the next three to five years.
The so-called “Scale Up Club” is made up of technology companies from a variety of sectors, from flower delivery to coding schools, drones to artifical intelligence.They were selected based on their year-on-year growth rate for the past three years.
The club is hand-picked by Silicon Valley Comes to the UK (SVC2UK), a not-for-profit organisation that bring together US early-stage investors and disruptive UK start-ups to accelerate the growth of innovative new companies in this country.
The new members will receive mentoring from successful entrepreneurs including Corinne Goddijn-Vigreux, co-founder of navigation device company TomTom, and Hillary Mickell, founder of US food recipe network Foodily.
