Managing Partner, ACF Investors

Tim is Managing Partner at the Angel CoFund, leading the team since establishing and launching the fund in 2011.

Until 2018 Tim also worked as an Investment Director at the British Business Bank where he spent 10 years involved in launching various venture capital funds and led investments to back some of the UK’s most successful venture fund managers.

Tim started his career at Merrill Lynch, training as an analyst on their graduate leadership programme, and went on to spend several years working in Europe, North America and Asia. Tim became an Associate Vice President within the technology group at Merrill before moving to Barclays Capital to work on the integration of the firm’s expanding global operations. Following BarCap Tim worked for a leading credit analytics consultancy and one of the UKs largest hedge funds, before shifting focus solely to venture capital investment.

Tim’s focus as an undergraduate was on engineering and information systems, he also has a full-time MBA from Manchester Business School.

When not investing or working with the portfolio Tim is usually to be found in the kitchen or outdoors somewhere.
