UK Network Director for the South and East of England, British Business Bank

Steve’s career has centred around funding and finance, both in the public and private sector. He currently works for the British Business Bank as UK Network Director for the South and East of England. Previous experience includes working for the UK Government in Brussels as a European research and innovation policy advisor and for Big 4 advisory firms EY and Deloitte in Brussels and Amsterdam, where he was responsible for setting up and leading the EU Government Incentives business. Since moving back to the UK, Steve has also worked for the Life Sciences Hub Wales, where he established the business growth services to support SMEs in the sector to access the finance and know-how needed to grow.
