Posy is a patent attorney and one of the partners in the chemistry group at Mathys & Squire.  She has worked with many start-ups, SMEs and spin-outs, drafting and prosecuting their patent applications globally, preparing licensing and assignment agreements, and advising generally on IP matters.

Posy is particularly familiar with inventions in the fields of pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, batteries and green technology. She enjoys a close and communicative relationship with her clients, with a strong focus on helping her clients ensure that their IP strategy aligns with their business objective, whether that is to commercialise IP by joint ventures or licensing, use IP to raise funds, make use of the Patent Box tax relief scheme, or otherwise.
