Senior Manager – Wales, British Business Bank

As the Senior Manager for Wales, Jess is the eyes and the ears of the British Business Bank in Wales. Jess works to improve access to finance for Welsh SMEs to support a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. Jess has a passion for supporting women in entrepreneurship and works on accelerating the growth of female-led angel syndicates to increase the flow of capital to women-led startups, has run a Female Founder Investor Readiness Programme and supports female founders with pitch deck development and fundraising related education. Jess was shortlisted for the Women in Banking and Finance, Future Leader Award 2024.

In previous roles Jess supported tech and digital businesses to scale whilst at Tramshed Tech where she established the Innovation Team and programmes such as the Tramshed Tech Startup Academy, a 12 week incubator, with support from Google for Startups, which won the FinTech Awards Wales Incubator of the Year 2021.
