George was founding Chairman of the Angel CoFund for eight years before joining the team as Partner in 2020.

Prior to joining, George was Venture Partner Manager at Octopus Ventures, one of Europe’s largest and most active venture investors. During his 9 years at Octopus he led marketing and corporate connections with responsibility for investments alongside a syndicate of over 100 Angel investors. He is Chairman of the Clean Growth Fund and was the co-founder and Chairman of the Venture Capital Trust Association and continues to sit on the Finance Committee of the Scale Up Institute.
